This Ezekiel bread... can I get it at any old supermarket? Or would it be found somewhere a little more specialized like a Whole Foods?

I couldn't find in regular supermarkets (even in the frozen/refrigerated bakery section). I didn't check wegmans's though. Just trader joe's. Whole Foods should have it though, I'd think.

Just check the freezers with bakery stuff.

One you eat when you want enough calories left over for breakfast and dinner! :p If I wanted an amazing everything-and-the-kitchen-sink sandwich, I wouldn't have trouble thinking of just what I'd want in it, ha.

All of these sound really delicious, I can't wait to try some new stuff.

Safeway has it next to the vegetarian stuff in the freezer section.

ETA I think that's where it is at GIant, too.

Another favorite is Smucker's natural chunky with Welch's grape jelly on Martin's potato bread. I'm not sure that's available everywhere, though. I keep my Ezekiel in the freezer, and I buy the Martin's for the kids (and my pb&j). Nothing weird on it like mayo, cheese or balogna. How can they ruin peanut butter like that?!

the correct answer is grilled peanut butter & cheddar.

(though mine checks in at 502 calories.)

Keep in mind you're easily getting 200 calories from the bread alone. I use ezekiel or the small Wegmans whole grain slices.

And this is why I buy bread that has only 80 calories per 2 slices!

ps - I don't do anything fancy with my sandwiches. Low sodium chicken or turkey, lite swiss, lettuce, tomato, and mustard =)

you can improve results by dipping in hot sauce. cholula is the best. (the one with the wooden cap on the bottle.)
