    Made these yesterday, except used prunes and pecans (didn't feel like walnuts LOL). I also added a little vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. And then added about 2TBL of soymilk to loosen it up a bit, it was starting to resemble wallpaper paste and I was afraid of it being dry when baked. :wink:

    :flowerforyou: Yum, I don't love dates, but it might be good all mixed together.....maybe will use raisins.

    I dislike raisins and dates so I omitted them and added a little bit of choc chips and they were awesome :) Just wanted to send along the suggestion in case you were hesitant to try them ....

    and i just threw 2 bananas away because they got too ripe for anything except banana bread (and I am trying to stay away from banana bread right now). THis would have been perfect. Now I have to wait until I get over ripe bananas again. :wink:

    Thanks so much for this recipe--just made them and they were yummy! I left out the nuts (hate them) and added a beaten egg which I think was a good tweak.
