Not sure what my %s should be at. I feel like im not losing weight like i should. My husband and i are both working out, he started2/3 weeks after me and he is noticeably thinner. Im staying under my calories for the week. Ive been working out ALOT more then i was before i started my fitness pal. To my knowledge im eating healthy, i started cooking low-cholesterol meals cause my husband has high cholesterol so i stay away from red. just not sure about the % of fat carbs and proteins i should aim for. I am losing some weight but i think my scales off cause i weighed myself at the college gym and its 10 pounds different than mine at home. Ive been doing research online but it keeps changing. Ugh! So confused. Help!

I recently came across this write up with lots of good info on foods and how to figure out how much to consume. A lil lenghty but a good read.

Look, I know everyone talks about percentage of macros, but what it comes down to is that your body doesn't CARE about the percentage of protein it gets and so on, what matters is the QUANITY/MASS. So you need to run some numbers to find out the QUANITY of carbs/protein/fat, NOT percentage.

Please read this article, it seems confusing and like a lot of info but it is spot on and the best bit of info I've ever read to help with my diet. If you already know your bmr and all that, just skip down to the macros part.
