Stretch marks eventually fade, but they are part of life. Very few adults have none.
  • thank you , but how do I use it and when ?

Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion rubbed on the marks. Vitamin E oil caps snipped open and gently rubbed on the marks. Make sure you're drinking enough water. Keeping your body hydrated helps skin elasticity.

I started using Palmers tummy butter since my second child. I don't use it as religiously as I should but I have seen a big difference to before pregnancy (I've had 3 kids). I really don't know about exercises...

...and I use it on more than my tummy :)

Someone on here had a post on Bio Oil and her stretch marks were fading quickly I haven't bought it yet.

Guys, stretch marks are essentially scar tissue. Despite many claims to the contrary, the only thing that fades them is time.

This. They fade. I have them everywhere and no one notices them anymore. Even my husband can't really see them. I got them from being pregnant so they don't bother me that much. Badge of honor.

Honestly most people have them. Use lotion will help some but if you get them there isn't much to do about it. There is no miracle cream or anything that will make them stop.

    I agree with this!

I buy a generic version of Bio Oil and it works the same.

I have baby oil in the shower that I use since I have super dry skin. I pour about a fourth of the bottle of Bio Oil into the baby oil for when I use it. Makes the bio oil last a bit longer while still getting the results. I have also mixed bio oil into a body lotion as well.

Does anyone know if Bio Oil or anything else works well on really old stretch marks? I got some simply from growing in high school (Suddenly it was like "BAM! HIPS!"), so they're about ten years old.
