Green Tea really does help!

I was soooo skeptical of this at first, but it really really does help to detox your body and help reduce cravings. I work at a coffeeshop, back in the kitchen five days a week. I am always around food, and we get our drinks for free so there's always the temptation to get something high in calories and sugar. But I stick to the sweet macha green tea steamer with almond milk and I don't feel tempted to drink or eat anything else! I'm going to the bathroom a lot more [sorry TMI] since my body is being detoxed in the process of me drinking the tea. I will definitely attribute it to helping me lose 29 lbs in 2 months. Give it a try and post your results!

    Fantastic results for you!

Green tea however doesn't make you lose weight or detox your body. It is a great drink to have regardless.

Ignoring the detox part, green tea is a natural mild diuretic, meaning it can help get rid of excess water weight. That does not mean, for anyone reading this, that you drink one cup and lose ten pounds. On top of that, there are a lot of health benefits of tea, especially green tea. If you're really interested and like green tea, I really recommend checking out Teavana or teavana.com. They actually sell macha tea and all the tools you need to make it.

This is a really good article on the matter. http://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/features/health-benefits-of-green-tea

I am a frequent tea drinker :) I love green tea just on its own, or with a tsp of german rock sugar.
