does anyone know of any really good heart rate monitors to help me figure out how many calories I'm burning when I exercise? I don't want anything too expensive.

Hi, I have just bought a POLAR FT7 from Rebel Sports (Auckland New Zealand). NZ$179.990

I bought a Timex Personal Heart Rate Monitor with watch at ****s for I think $80. I really like it. You do a couple of tests to see what your lowest heart rate and your highest heart rate are and enter them into the watch. You also enter your current weight into the watch. As long as you wear your monitor while you exercise, it will show you how long you exercised, how many calories you burned, your median heart rate, etc. I am very glad I made the purchase and feel it is more accurate than simply going by the elipictial or bike at the gym says.0
