My 30 day shred journey so far Day 1 vs. Day 10 (PICS)

Hello everyone! I have always loved seeing everyone's transformation photos and I hope to do the same for others who have been thinking of doing the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels. I started doing this 11 days ago and made sure to take pictures and measurements at the beginning and yesterday at Day 10. I am now on Level 2 Day 2 tomorrow and can't wait to see the results in the end.

So far in 10 days I have lost 6lbs!!!! Along with that my body is changing more than anything! I can tell I am stronger. My first day of doing Jillian I wanted to quit just like I always do when I started this on about day 2 or 3 of Level 1, but this time told myself that I am a strong person mentally and it's mind over matter and kept pressing on! Day 1 I could barely do 2 modified "girl" push ups. By day 10 I was not only doing ALL the modified push ups but also challenging myself doing 15-25 push ups and doing Natalie's hard part of the exercise. Level 2 so far is more difficult but not near as bad as I'd hoped because now I have more core strength. I sweat a lot but LOVE it every day! If you are thinking of doing this please do it! It will be the best decision you ever made I promise! Here are my results so far as promised and plan to come back at Day 20 and Day 30 to update my photos. I hope you enjoy.

Day 1-Day 10

-6 lbs down
Down 5.5 in all over(1 in my bust, 1.5 in my waist, 2.5 in my belly, .5 in my hips)

Ok. I figured it out. You are using the HTML link from photobucket.
When you view your picture at photobucket, on the right hand side, it should have a box with image links. You want to chose IMG code and then paste it to you post. THEN..change the IMG at the beginning and end to lower case.

    Make sense????

I think it has something to do with the URL you are posting. It should look something like this:

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/YOURUSERNAME/PHOTONAME.jpg

    while yours look like this:

    http://s1334.photobucket.com/user/thenewme3182/media/Shred/side10days_zps5f89d408.jpg

If you click the picture in photobucket on the right hand side you will see "Image Links" click the "direct link" and it will copy. Paste that within the img /img tags you already used and you should be good to go.

I am actually surprised I don't hate level 2 because I heard its the hardest but you see the most results in this level. I'm not sure if its because I was terrified to do and got there and it wasn't as bad as I thought or that level one really gave me the strength to do it. I can't do as many as them and still take my mini breaks here and there but I almost feel like it's faster than level 1. I can't wait to see what level 3 has for me though! I'm very happy with my body transforming. I may only have lost 6 lbs but it looks like much more on my body.

I saw more results in level 1 (I lost 14 inches total) then I saw in level 2 (only 5.75 inches total). i'm still super happy with my results and can't wait to finish up to see how level 3 worked.

I think after I will take a break and try some of her other work outs and then try 30DS over. I would like to go 1 month on, 1 month off kinda. I hated level 2 so I think that is why I didn't see as much of a difference, maybe by restarting it I will be okay and have more to show.

19.75 is a lot though and wonderful! I know once I finish 30 day shred on April 29th I plan to start up Ripped in 30 and do two rounds of it. I am on a major mission to be bikini ready by my trip to Florida at the end of July. I've not worn a bikini in years and was told by many people the best and fastest ways to get the right exercises to get that body is by doing both videos plus healthy eating which I am doing. I am so excited!
