I feel better already

I don't actually know how much weight I have lost since October when I started. But, I do know that I had lost at least one size before finding this site. I have lost an additional 10 or 11 lbs or so since signing up and I feel much better. I hope to lose at least 120 more. I don't just hope I will lose that much more, I know I will if I stick to logging my calories and eating more fruits, vegetables and concentrate on hitting my macros with whole foods instead of overly processed foods and continue to exercise daily.
I got some good news bad news health wise despite making changes more than a few months ago. I do have diabetes, but I don't have to take insulin yet and my doctor says I might not ever have to if I lose some weight and stick to a healthier diet and exercise daily. So, that is my motivation. I don't want to have to be on insulin to control my diabetes if I just have to take a pill a day to get my glucose levels down I will be ok with that. If I lose enough weight that I don't have to do that and I just have to monitor my BGL I will be thrilled. I also have high cholesterol so I have to have that monitored. But, since signing up here I finally have some hope that I will finally get to a healthy place with my weight and this is after decades of trying and failing. I have a much better grasp of why I failed in the past now. And I truly never thought of why I failed, I just beat myself up for failing and moved on to the next doughnut and piled on even more weight. So, now if I get to the point where I want to give up I know that there are ways to "cheat" that won't keep me from reaching my goals. Number one cheat for me is air popped popcorn, I feel like I am getting a real treat and it's not a bad way to eat back my calories at 130 cals a serving.
