Challenge: SPRING CLEANING!!! Spend 60 additional mintues a day cleaning your house this week. This is not including the time you would have already spent cleaning.     Well I won't be doing extra 60 minutes of cleaning a day since I just don't have time (only home and awake about 2 hours a day) but I will probably be doing an extra couple hours on the weekend since I have friends coming from out of town for Memorial Day weekend and the Coca-Cola 600.

    Good luck this week girls~ I love this weeks challenge!!!!! I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO need to do things like cleaning windows, cleaning out closets, getting rid of old clothes! This would be a good thing for me to do. But someone has to explain how you calculate the calories burned.

    spring cleaning eh???? hahaha, i dont think i'll be doing too much of that!! all i do all day is clean and pick **** up!!! i think i'll do yard work instead of indoor work because my yard is soooo hideous!! looks like a damn jungle back there!!! i just hope it doesnt rain too much!! well, i never posted in the week 6 forum cuz i forgot so:

    last week i weighed in at 202 with a loss of 1lb
    this week i weighed in at 201.2 with a loss of .8lb
    my goal for this coming week is to be under 200 finally!! this was my goal for today but i didnt make it. i didnt work out a whole lot this past week. i need to get back into my work outs. ive been focusing so much on food and not doing any vigorous workouts. i only need to lose 1.4 lbs to reach my goal this week.......lets hope i can do this!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hey yall...sorry I meant to put don't forget to track your calories burned from the extra cleaning. and you can see how much you use by our exercise database on here. its under cleaning!!!

    And for the ones that don't have time cleaning I'm sorry about this challenge...maybe yall can have your own challenge!!!

    I think I am going to do the 3500 calories burned challenge again for anyone else that can't do the cleaning for 60 minutes a day challenge.

    I knew the scale was gonna start moving again this week!! 197 seems crazy to me! I really hope i can meet it. C25K is going awesome! Anyone who wants to try to but is unsure, GO DO IT! Seriously I have never felt so good about myself then after I finish one of the days, I can feel myself getting stronger every run. I am stating week5 this week and was really scared about the 5 min runs, so yesterday I decided to just see how far i could run for, I ran an ENTIRE mile in 14min30 seconds without stopping! I could barely run 60 seconds 5 weeks ago!! It really is a great program.

    I think I am going to do the 3500 calories burned challenge again for anyone else that can't do the cleaning for 60 minutes a day challenge.

    I'm going to combine the 2 and do them both! Last week sucked with the traveling and not having time to exercise and I'd still like to complete that goal. My house is also a disaster so no reason not to complete this goal too.

    okay, burned 334 calories doing 60 minutes of "Cleaning, light, moderate effort" which is basically, cleaning my fridge, inside and out. Yeah, I had stuff growing in there!!!! lol I took out all the shelves, threw them in the tub to wash them. Why did I find a few hard boiled eggs from Easter???? :laugh: :blushing: This is a really good challenge for me because my mom will be home from her 2 month trip, in about 10 days. I still need to clean the rest of my carpets, only did the sectional and my one living room. I want everything nice and fresh when my mom visits my house! :happy:

    This week has not started out good for me. My motivation to work out and eat healthy has disappeared. Yesterday was really bad. This morning I went back to sleep after taking my kids to school, instead of going to the gym. uuuugggghhhhhh!!!! I have got to get back on track. I have to figure out what went wrong.:cry::huh:

    Your body might be coming down with something and telling you it needs a break. Take a couple of days off, still log your calories and relax. It will be the best thing for you. :flowerforyou:
