Cubans Sincronizadas
So the other day, I really wanted a good Cuban sandwich! I couldn't shake the craving but I really didn't want to fall off the wagon and get one from the deli by my house because I'm pretty sure they are crazy high in calories (and oh, so, good). So instead, my fiancé and I made "Sincronizadas Cubanas"
you need:
1 tortilla (I used "La Cruz" taco size)
1 slice Swiss cheese
2oz sliced roasted pork
2oz ham
1-3T yellow mustard
5 pickle slices
assemble like a quesadilla, toast on both sides (I did in a frying pan with no oil/butter but I'm sure you could bake them too.
They turned out awesome!! Very filling dinner on its own too, but you could put any veggie as a side to go with.
