Not Noticing Any Changes, But...

Last night I took my measurements for the first time.
I'm down 13 pounds but I haven't noticed ANY changes. My tummy still makes me look pregnant. My boobs are still huge and obnoxious and wiggly. My hips are still big and my clothes still fit the same (for the most part).
HOWEVER. As I said, last night I took my measurements. My hips are 1 inch smaller. My bust went from a 44.5 to a 41.5. I can't remember what my waist measurement was before but I believe that shrunk as well. I never measured my thighs or arms before so I have no comparisons for those unfortunately.
Point being, while I haven't noticed any changes, the measurements and scale do not lie! I also tried on my bridesmaids dress for my sisters wedding in September. I ordered a 16 back in october and it fit like a glove. Now it's so loose that if I raise my arms over my head my boobs pop out of the dress! I can't imagine what alterations will cost by the time I need to do those. -__- No worries!
I guess my point is, if you're not feeling like anything is changing, read this because things are changing and maybe we just don't see them right away. I hope everyone is doing well on their weight loss and getting towards their goals!

Yay! That's definitely a great NSV and Scale victory. Double whammy. I know sometimes it's hard to notice the small changes your body is making. The good thing is your still pushing on. I didn't really notice a change in my size and everything until a few weeks ago when I compared some old pictures to how I look now. It's amazing because I lost 29lbs and I mentally didn't see a change. I was still seeing that 200 and something pound girl. So it might take a while but it happens. Your doing an amazing job! Thank you for posting this Have a good day!0

Great post! It's definitely helpful to remember those changes that may not always be obvious when trying to motivate ourselves... I tend to lose motivation when I can't physically see a change. Congrats on the bridesmaids dress being really loose - it'll be such a great feeling to have to go in for alterations! You could use it as an after picture, too, if you have a picture of you trying it on when you ordered it0
