Stretching

Does anyone else get bruises from stretching? I notice some wicked bruises on my thighs and knees from stretching (runner's lunges, knee-down lunges, v-sit, pike stretches,etc.). They don't show up every time but when they do, they are pretty nasty looking- dark blue and greenish. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal?

No? I've never heard of anyone bruising themselves from stretching before, unless they fell down while they were doing it. That sounds like a "get a doctor to look into that" thing to me.0

no falling- it sometimes happens after a good stretch around my upper thighs. Used to happen more when I was a dancer. Maybe I just bruise easily?0
