lunch... right after working out?

I can manage to do my workouts only during my lunch break. A 11 month old baby at home & early morning or evening workouts seem quiet impossible.
My question is - does having lunch ..say.. 30 mins after a 45 min workout undo the effect of the exercise done?
Does it also matter the kind of food I intake?
What would be ideal post workout lunch to take?
Thanks.

^^ Agreed! Having good protein throughout your day will really boost your muscle recovery, so be sure to include it in your meals!0 -
I almost always eat something after I work out, and I try to make sure there's a solid amount of protein in whatever I choose.0

My trainer always tells me to eat after working out and make sure it's high protein!0
