I might give myself a day if it's really bad but usually I get up and go because it usually helps. If cardio isn't helping I switch to weights and that always works, especially things for abs and lower back. It may not be as vigorous a workout as I get on non-period days but every little bit helps and if I can't get through it, I sit down. Sometimes you just need to rest.0

Congrats for attempting a step class during TOM. I would never jump around at that time. If the cramps are bad, I just walk, walk, walk.0
