Any New Jersians?

Not sure how I'm suppose to type that.. LOL.. is it New Jersyans? New Jersians?

Well you get the point!

I'm an LA fitness member and with my job, I have the luxury to visit many in most of North New Jersey.

Would like to make some friends/possible gym partners! (Prefer women)

Thanks!!

I go there like a few times a month, depending on what projects im working on and if i;m in that area. Didn't know there was one in Rockaway?

Yeah, I will try that new one out. Today I went to the Clifton one, is it was amazing. Really nice and spacious inside. I will probably go again tomorrow. I don't mind the extra drive for a nicer place. I heard they are going to open one over here in Edgewater, so that when people are running the treadmill of ellipticals, they can see the waterfront and new york skyline.

Edgewater is pretty nice. My friend works in North Arlington so I know the view is pretty nice over in that area. Clifton was way too busy for my liking. I like to zone out and relax while I do sets.

Heh heh I work near 8A. All warehouses, distribution centers and tractor trailers. I used to run the loop of Prospect Plains Rd., Applegarth Rd., Forsgate Dr., and Cranbury-South River Rd. You take your life into your hands. I must've had a death wish. rofl

I had to leave NJ because of my job! (Princeton).
But Ive been pining for it ever since I landed two feet in Michigan. I will probably always plot and plan to come back, NJ is where my heart is. There is too much missing out here:

Taylor ham (they don't even know what it IS!)
    Yuengling
    Thumann's
Tastykake (nobody out here has ever heard of a krimpet. That is just so wrong).
You CANNOT get a decent pickle out here
You can also not find good Chinese.
The provolone tastes like wax. You can't find a good sharp one to save your life.
The people who work at the DMV are polite. It's weird.
The best pizza one can find out here is Little Caesar's. (I know, I know).
  • Ha! That whole area has undergone such changes since I moved here in '86. It's almost unrecognizable.

I frequent some of the warehouses when the sales are on, like Lenox. It's just the closest exit; I'm in Lawrenceville (halfway between Princeton & Trenton).

SueGremlin, sorry to read you're in a foodie wasteland. Keep the faith.

    LOL DMV people... nice???

I bet people over there don't ride bumpers, there probably not in a rush either?
Everytime I leave this state, it seems like the highways slowwwww down.....

    Horrible food choices out there!
