As you all might be aware, the first place you lose weight is in your face (usually) & if you already naturally have a slim face this isn't good! I'm thinking of having facial fillers & wonder if anyone has had them & would love to hear your stories good or bad x

  • I have been using facial fillers and botox for the last 8 years. It truly makes a huge difference. It fills your face out, and you look natural, healthy, and younger. The fillers I have used are Restylne, Radious, Sculptra, and Juvedurm. The longer you use them, the longer they last. Now I get fillers once a year, botox 2 times a year, and fraxel (skin resurficing) once a year. Fraxel keeps your face from getting that creape look in your skin, and gets rid of sun spots. Most fillers last approx 6 months to a year. The longer you use them, the longer they last. My favorite is Sculptra, it last 2+ years. My doctor says its like having your hair done. It's all about maintenance. If you do a little of this, and a little of that you look great. Botox cost approx. 600.00, Sculptra 1200.00 to 3600.00, and the other fillers between 600.00 to 800.00. Fraxel is around 800.00. Yes, it is expensive to look good. But, it makes me feel great, and I don't smoke, and rarely drink, don't shop a ton so I do this instead. My boyfriend, who is a good looking, tall guy, is 12 years younger then me. Everybody is always extremely surprised to find out my age. They always guess 10 years younger.
