from scratch challenge

Anyone want to play with me? I love cooking food from scratch, I make my own bread, pasta, condiments as much as possible... If it has ingredients I try not to eat it lets post our most awesome from scratch meals and how we got there!
Tonight - Spaghetti and turkey meat sauce
ingredients - frozen ground turkey, Fresh tomatoes (canned has ingredients!), onions, garlic, zucchini, red peppers, spinach, basil, rosemary, sage, bay leaf cooked until it's a little saucier (reduced) I did add salt
Pasta - whole wheat flour (locally grown and milled for bonus points) and egg and salt
I doubt a lot of other people go to these lengths for a simple spaghetti meal, but other than how much time it takes to cook, there is very little more effort than opening a box of pasta and making canned sauce,
Todays ingredient transgression was I guess the chocolate chips in the (homemade) muffin I ate and the canned beans in my black bean and rice soup from homemade broth... I guess there is salt added to my almond butter, so it might not be as pure as if I made it myself.
anyone else cook like me? I just like to know where my food comes from, it makes me feel better feeding it to my family

Tonight I baked parmesan mashed potato crusted chicken with whole wheat angel hair pasta--I used Emeril's homestyle marinara sauce but added garlic, basil, oregano, and bay leaf. I also added in some pesto. VERY YUMMY! I try to cook for my family at LEAST four nights a week!0
