So I've had this account for like ever.. I think '09 and I've used it maybe a few times, but never actually introduced myself lol.
I'm a gamer. I really don't want to blame it for my weight gain (I know, I could've put the controller/keyboard down and went outside lol) but it really doesn't help. Alot of my weight gain has been from stress (military wife, bad childhood, etc.), depression, eating out too much, drinking soda (When I was a teenager, I always said I was going to marry Dr. Pepper because we had a love/hate relationship that was going to work lol), playing video games (that kind that don't move you, although I now do have Kinect/Wii), genetics, and just overall bad habits.
Why have I decided to start using this account? Because no matter how hard I try, I'm not losing the weight. It almost seems like days that I do great on (workout, calorie count, drink water) I gain weight and the days I do bad on.. I'll lose some ounces and then shoot right back up and then some. For years I've steadily gained weight, about 10-15 lbs a year (one year I gained about 30 ). Last year I was able to lose about 17 lbs and been able to keep it off (well about 15 lbs. off). I can't go back up. I'm hoping to find some people here to help me keep accounted for & maybe get some pointers on not just 'losing weight', but changing my lifestyle and managing it. Thanks for reading

I'm also a navy wife and love to play video games. Gears of war, Resident Evil, Uncharted, anything.
I started about a two weeks ago with eating healthy and a week ago with exercising.
Feel free to add me.0
