Not new to MFP but here again with a new mind set

Hello all.
I've been on and off losing weight and trying to lose weight since I joined WW when I was 14. Now, I'm sitting here at my highest weight (174 lbs...5 foot tall) and it's time to get serious. I know what has to be done. It's just a matter of doing it and thinking of this as my new life. I've been terrible about letting myself eat whatever/whenever and it got to a low and disgusting point (new job at a gas station, junk food everywhere), So anyway, my goal is to get to 125lbs which is the higher end of my healthy range but I'm hoping to gain muscle as well so I don't want to set a goal weight I can't reach. I have around 50 lbs to lose and I'd love to have some friends on here. I have no local friends who are serious about their health and I'd like to have people on here to follow and talk to. My food journal is open (I just started today though) so if you want someone to follow and leave feedback on, I'm here and I'll do the same. Looking for some accountability : )

Good luck on your fresh start. It was difficult for me to get serious for a while too, but now that i am i see results and am sure you will too.0

Thanks everybody! I added you Tony. That is indeed what I need.
I feel like I should say...don't add me if you're one of those people who eats like 900 calories a day and talks about how full you are. One of these people just did and I had to delete her. I can't stand that.0
