What should my net calories be?

My goal is 1675 cal per day. Today I burned.... According to MFP about 700 cal. My net cal is 941.

The way MFP is set up you want to try to get your net as close to your goal as possible. For example:
My goal is to NET: 1770
I ate: 2001
burned through exercise: 332
My net is: 1669
I personally like to get my net close to my goal, but still under to leave room for errors when calculating calories consumed or burned. The general idea though, is to make your net match your goal.0 -
I just ate some almonds. Guess I need 175 more calories? But if my net is lower, won't I loose more fat?

lose more weight yes, but it won't necessarily be fat. When I first started I didn't eat back my exercise calories for a while and as my workouts intensified, I was starting to be constantly tired and getting frequent headaches.
