HI!
I joined last week- switched from MyFoodDiary (which charges you for this same exact service). I used it when I wanted to get in shape for my wedding which was in January. Now I want to use this site to lose the 10lbs I put on since the wedding and also to keep em off!

I'm about 122lbs now, and want to get back to 113ish.

I try to work out everyday- I enjoy it- but this month of May always proves difficult as I work in a school and I tutor, so I am really busy til summer.

One thing that always weighs heavy on my heart and mind with this stuff is that whole "calorie defecit" thing. I just dont feel right about eating back all of my calories. I know lots of people talk about that.... also, my HRM and my elliptical/treadmill, myfitnesspal, and my personal beliefs about my caloric expenditure are all different, so I tend to average them all and do it that way.

I hope that on this site to make friends. I think that will help me stay accountable. I also love how we can see each others diarys! That is SUPER helpful.

    Hello.....I have found some of the challenges to be helpful. I have only been on this site for a couple of weeks, but have already lost 6lbs since starting....mostly just eating properly. I was really surprised when I put in my breakfast when I first started at how many calories that was and I thought it was fairly low in Cal.
