Strength Training

I am wonderting why strength training that I log for the day is not "burning calories"? Im getting my butt kicked and heaart rate is high and sweat is pouring off me... thats gotta be a form of burning calories!

The benefits from strength training are different than cardio trainig. If you're doing more of a circuit style higher rep, lower weight, log it as circuit training. If you're doing actual heavy lifting (under 10 reps at a challenging weight), then you can log it under cardio as strength training and get a burn, but it's still not super high. The benefits from ST come after, while you're muscles repair, not from a high calorie burn during.

Strength training on here is just simply to track reps, sets and weights. Log it under cardio to get your calories burned added.

your heartrate is unimportant for strength training. don't worry about it being high, or not high.
