Every TDEE calculator and any other calorie burn calculator I put my work at sedentary. I know my job isn't sedentary but I do not want to over estimate.
I work as a x-ray tech and clinical assistant at a pain clinic. 2-3 days it is some sitting and the other days its a lot of moving around. I do wear a pedometer which estimates about 5000 steps on a busy day. However, I do a lot of standing with a heavy lead vest on. On busy days that can be 3 hours of standing with a heavy vest that does not get counted step wise.
Any ideas on how I can work my calories around this? It used to not matter but the closer I get to my goal the more exact my calories have to be.
