Does metabolism increase from cardio activity like walking and mowing the grass or only from strength training?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Anything you do to get your blood flowing will increase your metabolism. However, somethings will increase it more than others, especially following activity. Weight training, high intensity work, and interval training increase it for a much longer period following the exercise than steady state cardio (like walking or mowing) because they use different energy systems in the body.0
