Why doesn't MFP count calories burned doing strength exercises? I just logged in 50 squats and it doesn't count them as burned calories?

The weight portion is only for tracking reps and sets.
if you want to just add something for the sake of doing it, there is a laughably innaccurate counter for resistance training under cardio.0 -
