P90X as daily exercise regimen? How to track in MFP?

I am new to MFP and have recently started P90X as my workout program. My question to anyone who has been doing this a while is and also does P90X, how do you track your exercise in MFP for the P90X programs? Most of the 'drop down' choices on the exercise tab are generic, so I am having trouble figuring out which choice most closely matches what I do each day. If you are familiar with P90x... for example the "Core Synergistics" workout, I tracked that as Calesthetics but I have no idea if I am on target. Any suggestions are welcome.

I do the P90X. What I found is on Kempo days I use Aerobics General with the number of minutes. For the muscle building days and Plyometrics I use Aerobics 10-12 steps about 55 minutes. I use a Heart rate monitor and track the total calories burned there then enter it through those as close. Not exact but under by 20-30 calories. Get a Heart Rate Monitor with the strap and track that way. I found on certain days I was pushing myself to hard Plyometrics. Hope that helps a little.

Yeah definitely get a heart rate monitor. By far the best way to track your progress. Hang in there the first month as It's pretty hard to start with, but it gets better and better!

I belong to great support group if you'd like some extra motivation and support.

Thanks this does help. I think the consensus is that I need to invest in a heart rate monitor. Thanks again!

A Bodybugg/Bodymedia fit will track your everyday activity too. The BMF links with MFP.

I found this calorie counter from P90x: http://p90xcalories.com/. That might help you track your calories.
