6 Week CheckIn

Today marks 6 weeks from my start date.
I have to admit, when I was young, thin and fit I used to think fat people were silly. I never made fun or anything, and never said anything out loud. But, I would always think to myself, 'why do they stay that way? Why would they want to be like that? It is so easy to fix it, it really is. Do they not want to change?' ... Well, I know better now! Man, losing is NOT easy. This process has been very difficult for me. I have not lost a lot in the way of actual pounds, but the inch loss is pretty good and the pictures show good progress. But, the most impressive progress made is my endurance and physical strength. My major motivation has been wanting to get out and do things more with my daughter. I received, for Christmas, a bicycle and my daughter wanted me to go
out riding with her. First time out, I went 11 blocks and was so exhausted, couldn't breath, felt ill and walked the bike home. Yesterday - 10.9 miles!
Although none of this has been easy, I can easily say it has been well worth it and there is no chance of me quitting now!

Good work!
Just a tip about future before/afters (because you will totally have more soon ): When you edit your pics in photobucket, choose resize and set the width to 550 and save the image. It'll be the right size for the forum then!
In the meantime people can right-click your photo and choose view image and will be able to see the pics.0
