That right there is Cirque du Soleil artist and champion pole dancer Jenyne Butterfly. I envy not only her small, yet super strong physique but also her incredible skill. That right there is functional fitness. If you've never heard of her I highly suggest searching her on youtube. I was able to meet her in person and take a workshop with her, and I swear she is as strong as an ox but still maintains a very feminine yet muscular body.
watched the video and i'm amazed at how effortlessly she flows through the movement
Yeah, I've never been able to figure out how they don't slide back down the pole...
That was amazing, though!0 -
Just want to get back to my old, athletic body from my college days. I was around 160 in these pics.

you should try a class!! It's sooo much fun!
Also, I have almost no upper body strength (or at least didn't have any when I was taking classes) and I still did pretty well (and you improve pretty quickly).
I highly recommend it.0 -
Not sure with the hating on the Olsen Twins. I personally love them.
As for my motivation. Jake Gyllenhaal. Having trouble uploading picture! Haha.
you have to get the actual image link
Thanks!0 -

I don't think it's hate, more questioning if somebody with a known eating disorder is really an appropriate aspirational figure - particularly given that the "look" in the picture seems to be bordering on if not actually, underweight.
That is true. Mary-Kate has had her eating disorder issues, thus probably isn't the best person for someone to aspire to be; however, in this picture (while skinny) I don't feel she looks that unhealthy.0 -
Jessica Biel...she is smoking hawtttt!!0 -
Ok, well, I can't figure out how to put an image in here, but Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider. DAMN that's a nice bod.0

While I sometimes fantasise about this;
Realistically I'd be stoked with either of these;
Also! Butt should look like this!!
I like your thinking, take the best looking bits from a few people. There are a lot of smoking hot people being linked in this thread and that above butt is near perfect. I think with a lot of dedication and perhaps some performance enhancing supplements I might look a bit like this guy.
not working?0 -
Kate Upton or Katie Green - Real sized women!0

Oh yeah. She is definitely up there for me, too.0 -

Mila Kunis! She's about my height (I think she's an inch taller than me at 5'4") and the weight that I'm aspiring for. Plus I LOVE her!0 -

Well crap, I hope you're happy with staring at her legs. I'll try again.0 -

Don't wait!! You will gain upper body strength by just going! That's like when people say they need to lose weight before taking a fitness class lol just go. Sure it will be hard at first but everybody starts somewhere. Jenyne (the girl in the video) has been pole dancing for 11 years and does other aerial acrobatics but she had to start somewhere too just like you and me. Of course she is an icon in the pole world but you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it.0 -

I have come to know and accept my overall body shape and genetic tendencies.. I try not to focus on a body type i know I could never attain such as tall and narrow or short and small frame. I am medium to large boned with wider hips and shoulders. I can never change my underlying foundation so i now work with it! I love the toned/muscular look and I can carry extra muscle.
Why fight something.. Embrace your natural genetic tendencies, accept what IS... Enjoy YOUR body! ????????????0 -

I hate to be rude, but just skinny?
I wanna be a girl with some meat, muscle, and who scares the boys! hehe
i have boobs and butt, i don't like them I want them gone. lol0 -
I'm short and quite petite so something like this is what I'm aiming for.0 -
It's interesting what body type appeals to us, but for me this is ghastly thin and very unhealthy.0
