    Sure
I started out right after having my middle daughter. I went to the YMCA and I rode the recumbent bike for 20 minutes at a time. Nothing major. I couldn't even do 3 minutes on the elliptical. It was very, very hard for me, I didn't feel tired, I just felt like I couldn't breathe, was horrible! I got the weight watchers points book from my godmother who was a die hard member. I counted my points, which basically was a lowfat low cal diet of appx. 1300 calories. The weight melted off me. I lost 60 pounds in 4/5 months.
Here is a pic of me when I had her
    015-3.jpg
not three months later here is when I as about 200
    aquarium.jpg

I lost ten more pounds and left my partner. I hovered right around 185/190 for a long time. Though I shot up into the 200s for a few months Here is a pic of Newyears 2008
    004-5.jpg

I had yet another baby in 2009. His weight came off fairly easy. I dropped down to 180 in 2010 after my sons (the babys) father died. I metmy husband when my son was little over a year old, I got pregnant by my husband and shot back up to 230 lbs, My starting weight was 176.
This is a pic from my final bambino, I was probably about 220 here
    220632_145889765476443_8307201_o_zps17c5a06d.jpg

I worked really hard just eating according to what I used to be able to eat on weightwatchers. I got into p90x and Hiit workouts. I finally broke 170 again about 5 months after having the baby. I then got a very stressful job and quit dieting and working out. I took a bout a year break and maintained around 175. Again I went though a super stressful life event and stopped eating for three weeks, went down to 155, once I started eating again I shot up to 174. I started insanity in February but couldn't finish it due to tearing a ligament in my ankle. I only lost 5 pounds in the 4 weeks I did it.
I am lifting heavy now, on a 4 day split. ( I will tell you my schedule if anyone wants to know it) I swim on Wednesdays and do light cardio after my weight sessions. I keep my cals between 1500-1700 cals a day. High protein. Since February I have only lost about 10 lbs, but I lost a total of 12.5 inches now.
My family keeps me going, I want to have my kids be proud to call me mom! I want to be the hot mom!

Here are my kiddos and my stepdaughter (my kiddo too) We are a crazy bunch but it goes to prove that just because you have kids or are short on time you CAN make it work for you! Even with an unsupportive spouse YOU CAN DO IT!

    Sorry this is so long!

Before and during. I'm still working on my last 25lbs., but I'm over half way there! I'm not sure if I necessarily have a large frame. According to the interwebz, with a wrist size of 6.5" I'm at that line between medium and large.

I haven't got any progress pics apart from my face in my profile one, but I have quite a large frame with big hands and feet and broad shoulders despite only being 5'6".

    I started at 210lbs and a UK size 20, am now 159lbs and a UK size 12.

My shoulders are still very wide and that makes it difficult to buy fitted tops in smaller sizes! Also my calves are really muscular and so haven't really got any smaller despite losing 50lbs+. And my feet have got narrower, making finding shoes even harder when you are a UK 8.5. Some things you just have to put down to build rather than being fat.

    5'8" large frame.

I'm between 152-158 right now (every scale I step on tells me a different number).

My only goal now is shaving off the last of the belly, thigh, and arm fat and toning up. If I lose a few more pounds along the way, I won't complain.

You seem quite similar to me in height and build- your after picture is exactly what I am aspiring to. Thank you for posting this inspiration :)

I'm 5'8" and fairly large framed. I think I've gotten a little too thin and am trying to build some muscle and perhaps gain a few pounds in the process.

I'm 5'9 and larger framed (my ankle is 10") My start weight was 265 currently weighing in around 174. I have a % of body fat goal more than a weight/size goal, I'd like to be under 20%. I'm in a size 12 now. I have pictures on my profile but I've got to get to work at the moment.

This is really awesome to read! Sounds like we have very similar body shapes! I'm 5"8 and was 203lbs when I started (just about squeezing into a UK16), i'm now down to 177lbs and a solid UK14, sometimes a UK12. My original goal was to get down to 152lbs, but I would be happy to just lose another stone and be a solid UK12.

I also have very broad shoulders, my collar bones now stick out (yay!) but man are they thick, I also have a really wide rib cage!! also my calves are ridiculously muscly, always have been, and even when I lost 59lbs 10 years ago, I think there was maybe a half inch difference.

okay, i have a question for all you amazing ladies.

at my heaviest i was 353 lbs and a uk size 30 in my jeans in jan 2011. i lost 84 lbs over a year then gained 28 back last year due to not counting or exercising

when i joined here in jan 2013 i was 297 and am now down to 238 and comfortably in a size 16 jeans

according to the guidelines my ideal weight is 144 lbs and my question is what about the excess flab?

i would be happy if i got down to 210 which whilst still very overweight is still over 10 stone lighter than i was and not have too much excess flab

If i'm honest, for me anyway, having fluctuated between 223lbs and 164lbs all my adult life, I have, well, lets just say, although I've never had kids, a Dr has asked me how many I have, thanks to all the stretch marks and saggy skin. I think that sometimes that is just a hangover of being fat. I don't expect that I will ever be smooth and svelt and will probably just have to embrace looking good in clothes and more like a melted candle without.

    But... that's just me!

My goal is 145lbs. I still feel "big" thanks to my large frame, it sucks!
