I have been hesitant to start getting any real exercise because I have a baby and I really don't want to find myself too sore to pick him up or take care of him properly. Well, next week my husband is taking him out of town to see his grandparents so I'm free to do pretty much whatever I want (my older kids are more self sufficient)

I started the 30 day shred once and didn't stick with it. I was getting dizzy from the ups and downs of it, but that problem is mostly fixed now so I should be ok.

In the past, I was a gym rat, I lost my almost 100lbs working out 3-5 times per week, I even wanted to become a certified trainer (I should have for motivation, but there was no money in it compared to my career)

sooo, what are your thoughts? I don't have a TON of gym time, but I do get out for some yoga here and there... i just want to use this week to catch up a little

I say do both! I like to do my videos in the morning, before work, then hit the gym for cardio or weights after work. I don't necessarily do the 30 day thing, I just started with level1 until I felt ready to start level 2, and so on. I don't do them for any number of days, and now that I've tried all 3 levels, I switch them up and do whichever one I feel like that day.
