So you won the lottery, now what?
I'm bored at work, and fantasizing about the things I'm going to do *when* I win the lottery
What are some of the things you would do if you won the lottery?
I would for starters......
*pay off all debts
*put some into savings
*donate to SIDS research, the ASPCA, and a few other charities
*buy my mom, dad, and sister a new house (or pay off their mortgages)
*take family and a few friends on an awesome vacation, all expenses paid
and then I'd start on a few things for me and my husband

You've covered all the basics I'd also
*Go back to school (would like to get into the psychology field) and then start my own business helping people
*Pay off my kids education funds
*Hire a personal trainer
*Hire a cook0 -
First, I would buy all the fancy fitness stuff I want (check my status from yesterday! lol - kettlebells, HRM watch, new dumbbells, rollerblades, maybe my own elliptical!!!)...
Take my boyfriend out to a NICE dinner. I'm talking five star restaurant with 2 forks, a guy to PUT the cloth napkin in your lap and maybe he'd have a fancy French mustache or something.
I would pay off my bf & his brother's car (mine's paid) and take us on a beach vacation for a month (I'd be able to afford not being paid for a month!)
Then I'd buy a whole new wardrobe (after I hit my weight loss goal - duh. Waste of money) at H&M, BCBG and buy an Alfred Angelo wedding dress for later.
Annnnnnd... of course, buy all the things I'm saving up for: the rest of the $1,800 repairs on my car... new back taillight, some tinting, maybe a spoiler, and fix all the scratches and dents on the side of my car (looks like hail damage)... along with some lenses for my SLR, photoshop for my Mac, more RAM for my Mac, a new living room set so we can stop "borrowing" my bf's sister's, and paint the living room and actually decorate the bedroom.
Ohhh yeah, get all the degrees I need!!! B.A., and master's, then my professional counseling license.0 -

First off, set up trust funds for a number of people that are important to me so they would always be guaranteed to be taken care of for the rest of the their lives.
Second, donate to several worthy charities that I have been involved in for several years in some form or fashion.
Third, pay off all my and my wife's debts, and buy brand new vehicles.
Fourth, start spending more time at the gym and out doing things that would get me and my wife in better shape.0 -
I'd get the hell out of this country and move to Grand Cayman...start enjoying my beach life. I've always dreamed of becoming a scuba instructor, so that's what I'd do after I got bored of laying on the beach.0
