Maybe this is a dumb question but...

So everyone says that you can't really control what parts of your body you'll lose weight from, but let's say you end up losing much of your belly; after a while of losing so much from that area, would your body then just start to focus somewhere else, or...?

I hope this doesn't sound terribly stupid, I've just never really known much about weight loss. -__- Thanks!

I have heard/read that the first place you put weight on its the first to go..so it would follow that the last place that gets bigger is last to go?

Not sure how true it is though!

My advice would be to try to work out all areas of your body and try to tone as you go along with your weight loss.

It comes off everywhere all at the same time, but some areas of our bodies hold less fat than others. When the body is trying to burn fat it will find it... so our "problem areas" are the last to go because they usually hold the most fat. Your body can only take so much fat from your extremities, but you will lose from fingers and feet and arms and legs and torso all at the same time, but in the end, most of the fat is just left around the mid-section or hips depending on your shape.
