Nothing fancy Just a bit about me..

Hey my name is Pat and I am 37 (6’4” 267 lbs) married to a wonderful woman and have 3 kids and a cat named “Bird”... I was thin in my twenties and fat in my thirties now at 37 it is time to lose it for my forties... I have found the joy of running and have been off and on at it for two years, I’ve ran a 5k race and also did a 10k race, but if I want to get serious about my running I need to lose some poundage, healthy eating and running 5k five days a week is my plan. I am totally impressed with this web site keeping a food journal was such a pain, writing everything down and carrying that little book around. Now out comes the phone and boom the entry is logged, also it is such a time saver to pre checks your meal plan for the day and see where you will be if you eat what you have planned for that particular day. So as a 37 year old teenage Man I am pumped to see where this will take me... Good Luck to you all and Cheer’s

Hey Pat, welcome. It is a great site, easy to use and lots of motivating people. I am currently training for my first full marathon in June. I've been running for about 2 years. Always looking for contact with other runners whether it be for some motivation or just to see what others are up to. You can add me as a friend if you want.
