Calf strain? Doing 30DS, advice?

So skiing a few weeks ago I somehow messed up a muscle on the outside of my lower right calf while skiing. I'm not really sure how that happened because the muscle that's messed up would be in my boot. The only thing I can think of was that I was experimenting with new jumps and stuff that day so maybe I landed weirdly without noticing? Or had my boot too tight and it pushed on it while my muscle was in use? Either way, it has been a few weeks and it's only getting worse. It's still not horrible, but I'm wondering if I should do anything about it. I'm currently doing the 30DS (today was level 1 day 7) in addition to Zumba twice a week, and sometimes circuit training with the iPhone app Sworkit. In the 30DS, you have to do jump ropes and stuff which really use your calf muscles continuously and it starts to really hurt by the end of those sections. Today I decided to replace it with other cardio hoping to keep some of the pressure off of that muscle. Any other advice as to what I should do? I can't run well with it either, so I was hoping maybe somebody here would have a way to fix it or know what it actually is, or if I should still use it normally. Thanks in advance! Also sorry if this sounds like I'm an idiot, I just don't know anything about these types of injuries.
