Is it better to exercise before or after eating a meal?

I eat a light breakfast, a main meal lunch, and a light dinner. I just started to try to lose weight and need to take off about 40 pounds. I don't go to a gym, but I'm walking 3-4 miles a day (I started walking to work instead of using the car and walk my dog 2x a day).
Does it make any difference when you eat, before or after exercise?

Makes no difference, its really up to your personal preference.0

in your situation, it doesnt matter as you are not doing rigorous exercise like weight lifting and such. however, just dont walk right after eating. let your digestive system get to work first before getting out and about.0
