Am I Eating Enough?

Okay so I've been eating clean, working out, and drinking 8 cups of water a day for 2 and 1/2 weeks now and things are awesome! I've lost weight and inches already! I'm 5'4" and currently 140 lbs - when I was at my healthiest I was 120-125 lbs.

Recently I took a calorie count to check and make sure I was getting my macros and I saw that I eat 1330 - 1400 calories a day. I freaked out a little. I workout 5 days a week for 20 minutes (school weightlifting class) and then when I get home from school I do something for about 20 minutes (like a walk or a run) - NOT EVERYDAY just a few days when it's actually nice outside lol

I have plenty of energy - I don't feel drained - brain is crystal clear - and I don't feel too full - and don't feel hungry still when I eat this much.

Am I doing okay? I'm trying to increase them but I'm failing miserably because I get full LOL
What to do?

if you're not feeling hungry, woozy, etc, why are you concerned about this?

Agree. If you're not hungry and have lots of energy, who cares? Don't eat more just because a calorie estimator tells you to. Stay in tune with your body - it's pretty smart. ;)
  • Thanks for this. :p I feel a lot better now!! :) Had a miny heart attack :p haha
  • I Don't Know. I just - every one always says you need at least this much food etc - well I'm not hungry enough for all of that food lol

we are the same height and you are at my goal weight. the truth about starving mode is its only starving mode when you are eating crap food and not giving your body the nutrients it needs. eating clean your body is being full of nutrients and is full and satisfied. you don't need to eat more. my uncle was in starving mode because he was eating crap food and not giving his body the nutrients he needed. missed fruits, veggies etc. you are doing just fine.
  • I am no means an expert but from my experience it sounds to me like you are right on target. Eatting healthy, eating plenty of calories but not too many, and exercising. You don't want to lose more than 1-2 lbs a week. It is best to lose slow to lose the right way and to keep it off.
