Just got the news about 2 hours ago. I'm 44 with type II. I was given medication to take & now I'm trying to wrap my head around it. Been experiencing symptoms since my late 30's (now that hindsight is 20/20) my father has it (he's 66), both his parents got it at a young age (around my age) & both succumbed to it due to poor mgt.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure the feeling of being a failure will fade with time, but I'm really surprised at the shame I'm feeling. :noway: What's up with that?
