I just calculated mine and it is 2096. with only needing to lose 4 more pounds, it suggests a 10% difference, which would be approx. 1890 cal per day. i'm not sure i can eat that much and not gain weight! just trust it and go with it?????

Yes. Trust it and go with it.
You've been undereating for a while. Give your body a month to adjust before you freak out, too. Get into the resistance/weight training that was suggested in the other thread.
That actually still sounds low to me, but it's better than you've been doing. Good luck.0 -
i set up an appt. for a trainer to go over the weight machines, so i'll be starting that a week from monday. it's going to be an adjustment realizing i haven't been eating enough.....wow! LOL...but then on the days when i sneak in two workouts and burn 1000 calories, how can i add on another 1000 cals of food?? i enjoy my treadmill hour, it's my "me" time, and i love my zumba classes on monday and wed nights. i just want to make sure i understand everything very well so i can maximize my results and know it well enough that over time i won't have to so deligently watch my calories0

When you calculate TDEE on one of those TDEE sites, it asks for your activity/exercise level.
If you use that TDEE minus 10% - you DON'T eat more on exercise days.
If you use Myfitnesspal, you add in the exercise and eat more on those days....but you weren't doing that.
Pick one and stick to it. Give it a month. You will probably gain a couple pounds and then lose them again. Be patient.0 -
perfect explanation, thanks so much!0

I eat 2222 a day, and I love it. Weight is coming off slloooooooooooooooooowwwly, but I love food. Easier to keep the weight off this way. I wish I could eat for a living.0
