Days rest when weight training

Does anyone know how many days rest is needed between workouts? Can I workout full body two days in a row or do I need time in between? I don't lift very heavy weights just trying to tone.

    From what I understand you want 1 if not 2 days between lifting. Most people train separate muscle groups every day so they can rest the last muscle group but still get I the weigh training.

    When do full body rest at least a day inbetween workouts. It doesn't mater if you are going light or heavy,
