Help me get my dream!

So, I'm not the most motivated of people, and I could really use some positive encouragement. I'm 5.6 ft and nearly 14 stone, and I'd ideally like to get down to 9.5 stone. I really try to avoid wheat, and get carb cravings, any suggestions for recipes, blogs etc?

I'm really tired of having so little self confidence, and I would love to be on Broadway, but I'm not a talented dancer or singer (I am having lessons soon, but my voice would be better if there wasn't the strain from being overweight) so I would love to start dance classes, but I really don't feel like I'd fit in at all at the moment.

Also if anyone has any tips/workouts that can help to shrink my bust, I'd love to know them.

What I've learned here is that when it comes to weight loss, it's far more important how many calories you are netting than it is what type of calories you are consuming, though the type can have an impact on your nutrition. To that end, carbs are not necessarily the enemy, unless it has something to do with your thyroid issue? (Glimpsed at your profile).

I encourage you to keep up with logging foods and activity into the MFP diary, and try to maintain a proper calorie deficit. I'd also encourage you to take up those dance classes without having to wait to not feel overweight. The reason being that regardless of your weight, your first classes would be a bit of a struggle anyways because you'd be doing something new. Sure, it may be easier to perform when you get more fit, but it's never too early to learn and start training your muscles. It may be frustrating at first, but as you practice and get better, you'll gain confidence and help build your self-esteem. Same principle applies to the weight loss. It may be frustrating at first, but if you stick with it, it'll pay off.

    Good luck on your journey.
