Hello! I am 28 years old, mom to a 3 year old, IBS sufferer and overweight. Currently, I am 17 lbs overweight. I was 120-130 lbs until I got my current job and started eating out. That was 8 years ago. I was 140 lbs when I got pregnant with my 3 year old. My eating habbits weren't great when I was pregnant because I was sick the entire time. I ate what I could keep down. After I had my baby I found I could eat a ton and while breast feeding I actually lost weight. 2 years ago she stopped nursing, and I've put on 17 lbs.

Last year I was finally diagnosed with IBS and I was told to change my diet. I didn't and I've been in a lot of pain because of it. Also, this past year my daughter wa diagnosed with cronic dirreha due to her poor diet. So now my choices are affecting her. My husband and I also suffered a misscarriage a few months ago and I still feel depressed. I also feel unnatractive b/c of the weight.

I want to lose weight for several reasons:

1) To be healthier and keep my IBS under control.
2) To be a better role model for my daughter so she can be healthy.
3) To feel attractive and wear cute clothes again.
4) I want to be heathier when we are ready to have another baby.

So, that's me. I hope to find others like me on this journey.
