I work at Olive Garden. My shift is generally 5 or 6 hours. I eat before I come in but by the time I leave I am starving. I normally cave and eat a breadstick or order something off the menu which isn't healthy. The whole time I work, I'm busy because you constantly have new tables sitting down so I don't have time to eat or snack during my shift. I have tried to bring healthy snacks. Anyone have any ideas to help control myself from eating the bad stuff or how to deal with this problem?

Continue to bring your own food, the cravings for OG will most likely subside

Maybe put in an order for something healthy off the menu, but do it before you get hungry or have cravings? Last time I was there, I remember they had a low cal menu or something like that. Or have your meal from home packed and ready to eat as soon as your shift is over. I know how hard it is to make wise choices when the yummy stuff is right in front of you! Good luck.

Take a high protein, high fiber bar (like quest or myloplex) and eat it as soon as you're done your shift with a couple huge glasses of water. You can also cut the bars up into several pieces and pop a piece in your mouth and chug a glass of water between customers when you have a moment. Can't you also have the cook just grill you a chicken breast or pork tenderloin without lots of oil and butter and toss it into a salad?
