I've been not able to sleep because of hunger pains in the middle of the night. Whats up with that?
Its new, since I started working out more. I'm definitely eating the calories I have.
Any suggestions on snacks prior to sleeping or something in the middle of the night (other then apples, oranges or bananas)

I actually love being hungry in middle of night. I shows that I followed my plan the day before and since it is usually 10-12 hours between dinner and b'fast and even though you are doing nothing, your body still needs fuel so... this is a good thing. Look forward to feeling this!!!0

On the rare occasion I wake up in the middle of the night hungry I can never be bothered to get out of my warm bed  .
Those Kellogg type bars could be handy, you can keep them close by and you won't have to prep food half awake.0 -
If you're eating properly during the day you shouldn't be waking up hungry in the night. Plan a small protein snack before bed and keep a big glass of water by your bedside. It may be more of a learned behaviour than actual hunger.0

Bring processed food to a minimum, and your hunger goes away between meals and before bed.0
