I have a cold. Nothing major. No fever, just dull aches and some sinus pressure. A little sore throat. Nothing that will keep me in bed, but I am not 100%. would you still workout? I was planning on trying day 3, week 1 of my Couch 2 5k app. How many people here still push through when they dont feel well?
My mind wants me to GO GO GO GO but my body is saying...ehh..but pajamas are so comfortable right now. I think it may be a mind over matter thing...

This was me a couple weeks ago. I went to visit my bro in arkansas and when i got back i had a head cold. since the visit had kept me out of the gym for a week i was itching to go back no matter how crappy I felt. During my workouts was the only time I felt good during the couple days I had the cold. My sinuses opened up and moving around took my mind off being sick.

So I guess my advice would be DO IT!

Thank you, I think I will.
I had strep throat back in Feb and it kept me bed ridden for 9 days. that was 9 days lost at the gym or even moving around at all. I don't want to get back into that. I also don't want to get myself used to making excuses as to why I can't even go for a walk. That is what I used to do all the time. I also don't want to hurt myself, or make myself sicker. But I guess if I feel I can't run, I will at least walk because it is something! I usually go to the gym Monday nights for spin class but other plans are keeping me away...grr.

l would still work out. If you have a little cold, no reason not to! If you have a fever or something worse then rest.

Well, I did end up going out...I ended up walking and not running because I was having a hard time catching my breath. But at least I got out there!
