Yes, muscle weighs more than fat for the same mass. Therefore you can stay the same weight but be thinner.0 -
Inches for me. Too many factors to consider if you are just using weight (time of day you weigh, water retention, carb loading day etc). Since I've started using MFP, I've lost 3 inches around the belly.
I prefer to judge my progress through measurement and looking at myself rather than by a number on a scale.0
