So my bacon says its 230 calories for two slices of raw bacon. Cooked its 35 cals per slice.
This seems wrong. How does everyone track their bacon.

That seems like a pretty big drop, but I certainly would expect a drop, since most of the bacon fat it left in the pain.
Which is a crying shame, and why the English invented fried bread.0 -

How thick are the slices?
The usual count I see for bacon is 50 kcal per slice... at least this matches what I see on packages, too.
Cooking can release some of the grease, so you might be getting less fat. But I don't usually count on that and log it by the raw calorie count. I figure there are enough inaccuracies in the logging (esp. when I eat in restaurants) that overlogging on bacon will be counterbalanced by underestimations elsewhere in my diary...0 -
Cooked. Most of the fat cooks out of it I guess?? I microwave mine on paper towels and I know they are full of grease when I am done. Maybe that is it.0
