Has anyone had their thyroid removed? I have to have mine removed and I am mainly curious about how your having it removed has affected your weight loss. My levels are "OK" but according to the current ranges I am a bit hypothyroid.
How long did it take to figure out your medication level once you had it removed? I have heard horror stories about how they start you off really low and they gained 20 pounds within weeks with normal eating! Please tell me that is not true!!
