too much protien............

Everyday when I tally up my food I end up with too much protien. I eat lots of chicken and boiled eggs.......... fish is always in the mix too. I am just wondering if it is bad to eat over on your protien allowance. I am always under on everything else, such as carbs, fat and sugar. I think that protien is healthy vs eating all of the fat, carbs and sugar............ any ideas?

MFP sets your protein intake low - you can adjust as needed.
1 gram of protein per 1 pound of body weight is not uncommon (e.g. if you are 140 lbs, it's okay to eat ~ 140 grams of protein a day). More if you are weight lifting.0 -
Not really a concern unless you consume 200+ grams of protein daily - which of course is usually a aim for bodybuilders/power lifters ...
If you do intake more protein than your body needs, you'll likely just go flush it back down the toilet ... No biggy really :drinker:0 -
I won't believe I'm eating too much protein until I a bunch of cows and chickens start signing petitions to make me stop! Until then... PROTEIN FTW!!!!!0
