Muscle weighs more than fat, but what about water?

Okay, we all know that given equal volume, muscle is heavier than fat. But is water heavier or lighter than fat?

Again, given same volume (added for the "dense" people).

Looked it up. Fat has a density of about 0.94g/ml. Water is 1g/ml. So water is heavier than fat per volume.

The only thing I can tell you is that one gallon of water is a little over 8 pounds. You'll have to decide how relevant it is to your question. I don't know anymore on the topic ????

P.S. glad you further added to your topic post since we all know 2 pounds is 2 pounds whether it's muscle, fat, bricks or feathers. ????

Thanks! I always wonder about this when someone says "It's just water weight".
