Does anyone have a good system for meal prep. Yesterday was my first time that I really tried to prep meals for an entire week (rather than preparing 1-2 days worth at a time). This blog post inspired me (and I am already enjoying the recipes suggested there), but I'm always looking for more support - http://brittgetsfitnfab.blogspot.com/2013/01/adventures-of-meal-prepping.html?m=1

I don't really "prep" week per week. But I do plan my meals out a month in advance. The only change is if my hubby and I decide to eat out, in which case I use the veggies for lunchs at work and freeze the meat. I do make meals that are 4-6 servings so that I have lunches covered for the next day or so.

I do, however, prepare beans for the entire week when I am off work and refrigerate them so that I can get all done in one day.

I had a look at the blog and wonder why on earth would you want to eat the same food every day for a week? By the third day I'd be going nuts! I usually do something creative with leftovers for my lunch and will cook a double batch of a recipe and freeze it for a later date but I like variety in my diet for both interest and nutrition.
